Steps to change Trend Micro Internet Security to automatically change the Personal Firewall Profile

The Trend Micro Internet Security Personal Firewall can automatically activate a different profile when your computer changes its network connection. This feature is useful if you move your laptop between your home, your office, and different Wi-Fi hotspots.

To activate this feature, please do the following:

1. Open the TMIS main console by doing any of the following:

Click Start > Programs or All Programs > TMIS > Trend Micro Internet Security.

Double-click it's icon on the lower right corner of your screen.

2. Click Personal Firewall Controls on the left panel.

3. Under Personal Firewall, click Settings.

4. Make sure that the Activate the Personal Firewall checkbox is enabled.

5. Put a checkmark in the Automatically switch to the appropriate firewall profile when you change location checkbox.

6. Click OK to save your settings.

7. Close it's main console.
